Eight, resurrection and a new beginning

Eight is the number which signifies new beginning. For example, there are seven whole notes in music, the eighth note is the octave. Seven days in a week, the eighth day being the first day of the new week. 

 
The Greek translation for Jesus is ιησους, its numeric value is:  
                       ι  10, η 8, σ 200, ο 70, υ 400, ς 200
                       10 + 8 + 200 + 70 + 400 + 200 = 888 or 37 x 3 x 8

The Greek words or translation for Christ χριστος,  its numeric value is:
                          χ 600, ρ 100, ι 10, σ 200, τ 300, ο 70, ς 200
                          600 + 100 + 10 + 200 + 300 + 70 + 200 = 1480 = 37 x 5 x 8 


The Greek translation for savior is σωτήρ, also a multiple of eight. Its numeric value is :        σ 200, ω 800, τ 300, ή 8, ρ 100
