Numbers In Scripture

These numbers and their meanings appear on the surface and also beneath the surface. This list of the numbers and their meanings have been tabled from F.C. Payne's text, The Seal of God.

They are as follows:

1. Unity or unit.

2. Separation or witness.

3. Divine perfection or Godhead.

4. Creative work or the world.

5. Grace (free gift of God).

6. Man (under sin).

7. God's seal, often called the perfect number.

8. Resurrection or new beginning.

9. Finality.
